Orders & Shipping
If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please feel free to Contact Us and we'll do everything in our power to help!
When can I expect my order?
Orders are processed within 1-2 hours, and are added either to that day or the next day's roasting schedule.
Depending on carrier availability, shipments will arrive in 2-4 business days. Tracking information is available in your order history, typically via USPS or UPS.
Local Wausau orders are delivered in 1-2 business days.
Can I change my shipping information after ordering?
We try to wait until the last minute before committing your shipment—just in case. If you need to make changes, please Contact Us as soon as possible with your order information. Once your order has left our facility, however, we are unable to make changes.
Coffee & Storage
Every bean we sell is specialty grade. Most are organic (look for the Certified Organic icon)! Certificates are always available upon request. We're proud to deal directly with the farms and cooperatives who produce our coffee.
Why does one coffee not have all roast levels listed?
Certain varieties of coffee don't take well to a given roast level so we don't outright offer these. Too dark and it tastes a little too much like charcoal, too light and it tastes a little too much like a lemon peel.
If you have a special request, Get In Touch! We roast everything to order.
How long does my coffee stay fresh?
Coffee sealed in its cellulose bag will remain fresh for 3-4 weeks. Be aware that off-gassing is natural, so the bag may puff up. Darker roasts have a tendency to pop the cellulose bag—more gas, more pressure.
Unsealed bags remain fresh for 1-2 weeks. Coffee doesn't go stale like bread, though. One month old coffee will still have great flavor, it will just become muted with time.
Seal your coffee from air and moisture and store in a cool, dry place (bread boxes work great). Coffee can be frozen, but be wary of using a refrigerator's freezer. Other food can impart flavors and aromas on your coffee through an imperfect seal.
